Oddly enough relaxation is the gradual lengthening of muscle fibers. None of our muscles can work without muscular tension and without our muscles working we could not move. Relaxation is best described in Chines the term &#8220;wu wei,&#8221; is literally &#8220;not forcing&#8221; and it refers to muscular control.<br/><br/>Our blood flow sends the blood to the surface of the hands and feet and all around the surface of the body, this has the effect of nourishing all our tissues and when the blood leaves it is detoxifying the body, by removing the toxins. When we are stressed the tissues become under nourished because the blood flow is diverted away from the tissues to the muscles. Tenseness and anxiety means that our muscle core gets greedy and demands an unfair share of the nutrients, because it requires them just to move.<br/><br/>Be Aware of muscular tension <br />Once you are consciously aware of muscle tension then you can do something about it. Unfortunately most of us let tension creep up on us and we are not aware of it. Grip your abdominal muscles tightly and feel your abdomen come in and up. Then gradually and slowly release the tension in those muscles, the slow speed is an important part of the process because it allows the muscles to lengthen fully. Once you are aware of that feeling of tension in any muscle group in your body concentrate on releasing that tension and lengthen the muscles.<br/><br/>Most of us are shallow breathers and as a result of this when we inhale the blood does not fill the lungs, so consequently a half full breath gets sent around the body which means that our extremities are starved of oxygen. Breathe in slowly rhythmically and shallowly to the count of eight, hold for eight seconds and exhale for eight seconds. Whilst you first practice this you may feel light headed as the blood takes more oxygenated blood to the tissues.<br/><br/>The brilliant thing about relaxing muscles it can be done at any time you can practice deep breathing techniques whilst you are reading this article. As you become more proficient at lengthening the muscles you will also become more aware of the muscles being tense in the first place, because relaxed muscles will feel so much better.<br/><br/>When your muscles are relaxed the brain cannot work as efficiently because it can&#8217;t concentrate, and this makes it easier to fall asleep. Sleep is a healer it allows the body to rest and heal itself. A recent Athens study carried out by Dr Kyriaki Mystakidou, reviewed a 102 patients with an average age of 62.8 years. The problem is that they purchase product that is already full of chemicals and is hormone ingested. Not only that but part of the product usually includes such things as road killed animals and diseased carcases and the bodies of euthanized animals that are picked up at the pounds. So I ask you, Is dog food healthy?</p>

The process is rather simple. You dive into an emotion and explore it, until you feel prepared to release it.<br/><br/>Having released ourselves from apathy, grief, fear and lust, it&#8217;s time to tackle anger. Anger tends to stir a strong level of energy and reaction within us. Sometimes it feels intense, and sometimes even explosive. Some personal development ideology suggests that we would be better served by ignoring our anger and immediately thinking about something that feels more positive. This method can be effective, however to truly release the angry feeling&#8230;try to dive into it and explore it.<br/><br/>When someone has done something to make us angry, it is easy to focus on the mental image or picture of what that person did, telling the story to ourselves, again and again. We cling more tightly to the emotion of anger and it becomes part of our self identity. We become our feeling.<br/><br/>Anger may manifest in feelings such as:<br/><br/> Annoyance Brooding Disgust Resentment Hostility <br/><br/>By using the Sedona Method, you can not only release the anger, but feel forgiveness towards other people, and even yourself.<br/><br/>One level of emotion up the ladder from anger is pride. Feeling pride may mean desiring to maintain the status quo. We don&#8217;t want to change or transform. Our mental images may focus on what we have, what we know. If we are aware of others, we want them to notice how special we are. But pride is often an emotion we use to camouflage our true feelings of inadequacy.<br/><br/>Pride can blind us to our shortcomings, and limit our desire to seek help or support from others. It can be difficult to appreciate those around us.<br/><br/>When we&#8217;re in pride we might experience any of the following:<br/><br/> Contempt Stoicism Superiority Smug Judgmental <br/><br/>None of our emotional states need be permanent states. We can release them and experience the freedom that comes from awareness and inner harmony. The more you practice moving through the emotional states, the easier you will find it to release them.<br/><br/>Reflect on when you felt angry or experienced pride. Do the exercise with both the emotions, one at a time, beginning with anger. Ask yourself:<br/><br/> Can I welcome this feeling? Can I let it go? Would I let it go? When? </p>

Our society has become increasingly convinced  everything can be perfect the first and every time. Although consistency is  desirable, it&#8217;s almost impossible to guarantee every experience will always  meet the same high standards. This means many people are setting themselves up  to feel dissatisfied with their own or other people&#8217;s performance. Although  this may not be too serious a problem in everyday living, it can become more  dangerous when it comes to sex. There&#8217;s a mythology about sexual activity that  often gives rise to high expectations. Our young are often led to believe the  first experience will be extraordinary. Disappointment is therefore quite  common. If these disappointments are repeated, it can affect libido and people  can lose some or all their interest in sexual activity.</p>
<p><strong>Physical and psychological causes of erectile dysfunction</strong></p>
<p>Some  causes of erectile dysfunction are purely physical. This can be an injury  affecting the spine or lower part of the body, there may be damage to the  nervous system because of diabetes or similar diseases, or it may be a symptom  of cardiovascular disease. The most common cause is too high a level of  carbohydrates in the bloodstream. This produces a deposit of platelets on the  walls on the arteries and slowly restricts the flow.
